Anker Towbars are one of the first companies in the UK to install full test facilities for the implementation of EC94/20. Our equipment is inspected and approved by the Vehicle Certification Agency. The machine is British made. It is extremely powerful and will easily test any conceivable future requirements. Despite its power it measures the rams position to 1/1000 of a MM and 1/10,000 of a Kilo-Newton. Data is recorded throughout the test and this, along with the achieved test towbars, are examined by Vehicle Certification who then licence us to make the bars to EC94/20.
